The Saudi Arabia Bureau of Standards(SASO) announced on its official website that: Saudi Arabia will expand the scope of IECEE certification control and add six new products from July 1, 2021. Newly regulated product categories: Kettles; Coffee machines; Electrical Oil fryers; Electrical pumps(5HP and below); Video Games&accessories; Cables. In order to ensure smooth customs clearance, products in the list of controlled products need to apply for and obtain a SASO IECEE Recognition Certificate (SIRC certificate for short). Products in the scope of SIRC certification need to obtain an IECEE test report and CB certificate from the NCB organization, and then an IECEE report accreditation certificate issued by the Saudi official certification body SASO, before applying for a PC certificate from the SABER platform for use before shipment Apply for the electronic COC required for customs clearance.
From July 16th, the new regulations for CE products exported to the EU
According to the requirements of the new EU product safety regulations "Market Supervision Regulations (EU) 2019/1020", starting from July 16, 2021 (local time), most products with the CE mark in the EU (except the UK) require the EU The person in charge serves as the contact person for compliance of their products. This means that if products exported to the EU carry the CE mark, it must be ensured before July 16, 2021: goods with the CE mark have a responsible person in the European Union ("European Generation"); goods with the CE mark are affixed The contact information of the responsible person in the EU, including the name, registered trademark name, mailing address, email address, telephone number of the responsible person in the EU should be reflected in the product, product packaging, package or accompanying documents; To distinguish between manufacturer information and EU representative information, you can add "manufacturer" and "EU representative" before the corresponding contact information.
