Liuzhou snail powder trademark has been protected by 18 countries and regions, and the export value has increased 4.1 times
The international registration and protection of the snail noodle brand in the past two years has provided strong support for the snail noodles to go abroad. At present, Liuzhou snail noodles have been exported in batches to more than 20 countries including Singapore, South Africa, Russia, Argentina, Germany, and Italy.
According to Jia Jiangong, deputy director of the Liuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, from January to April 2020, Liuzhou’s snail powder exports amounted to more than 1.7 million yuan, twice the amount in 2019; The export value from January to April this year is about 7 million yuan, an increase of 4.1 times over the same period in 2020. Moreover, the export value in the first April of this year is close to the export value in the first half of last year.
After Liuzhou snail powder became popular on the Internet, the Liuzhou Municipal Market Supervision Bureau actively explored the use of the Internet traceability anti-counterfeiting system to play the role of the Internet identification system. By scanning the QR code, it carried out online and offline landmark product tracking and identification management to ensure the use of anti-counterfeiting identification codes. Each bag of snail powder is "made in Liuzhou" to strengthen the "traceability" protection of the origin of geographical indications.
